JACKSON COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — James Waylon Webb, of Woodville, Alabama, has been identified as the pedestrian in a Saturday night fatal vehicle strike in Jackson County.
Webb, 40, was struck and killed by a vehicle near Woodville Saturday night.
According to reports, Webb was on-foot in the area of 9080 County Road 8 in Woodville, when he was struck by a Chevrolet Silverado around 9:15 p.m. Saturday.
Webb was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
It is unclear if anyone was cited at the scene.
The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
