POLK COUNTY, FL. (THECOUNT) — Jennifer Morris Wray, of Davenport, Florida, and Tyrone Jamar Jones, of Haines City, Florida, have been identified as the victims in a Friday night double-fatal vehicle crash in Polk County.
Wray, 64, and 38-year-old Jones, were both killed in a two-vehicle crash near Davenport Friday night.
According to reports, Wray was operating a BMW coupe on US 17-92 near Ernie Caldwell Boulevard in Davenport, when the vehicle came into contact with an Infiniti SUV occupied by Jones and 38-year-old Tavarous Stokes, of Lakeland around 9 p.m. Friday.
Stokes was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
Jones and Wray were both pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
