WASHINGTON COUNTY, AR. (THECOUNT) — Lewis Brant Barnes, of Tontitown, Arkansas, has been identified as the victim in a Friday night plane crash in Washington County.
Brant Barnes, 43, was killed in a single-engine small plane crash in Fayetteville Friday night.
According to reports, Barnes was piloting a Beech M35 fixed wing plane, when for unknown reasons, the aircraft went down near North Smokey Bear Road in Fayetteville around 6:30 p.m. Friday.
Barnes, an Arkansas businessman, was killed in the crash.
FAA officials are working to determine the cause of the crash.
