FASHION WORLD. (THECOUNT) — Iconic fashion designer, Vivienne Westwood, who electrified British fashion by bringing elements of punk and new wave style to the mainstream in the 1970s and beyond, has passed away Thursday. She was 80.
Westwood died in Clapham, South London on Thursday surrounded by family members and friends.
According to a tweet from her fashion label official account, Westwood died “peacefully and surrounded by family.”
A cause of death was not provided.
