INDIANA COUNTY, PA. (THECOUNT) — Andrew David Johnston, of Home, Pennsylvania, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday morning vehicle crash in Indiana County.
Johnston, 25, was killed in a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning.
According to reports, Johnston was operating a Chevrolet Silverado on PA-954 in Indiana County, when a Toyota Tundra crossed centerlines before traveling into opposing lanes around 8 a.m. Thursday. The Tundra then came into head-on contact with Johnston’s Silverado.
Johnston, who became entrapped in the vehicle, was extricated by first responders. He was pronounced dead of injuries suffered in the wreck.
Officials said the driver of the Tundra lost control due to slick road conditions.
The condition of the Tundra driver was not provided.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
