GENESEE COUNTY, MI. (THECOUNT) — Lawayne Blakely, of Flint, Michigan, has been identified as the pedestrian in a Tuesday night fatal vehicle strike in Genesee County.
Blakely, 41, was killed after he was struck by a vehicle in Flint Township Tuesday night.
According to reports, Blakely was on-foot in the area of Interstate 75 and Corunna Road in Flint, when he was struck by a passing vehicle around 6:40 p.m. Tuesday.
The 19-year-old male driver from Burton remained on-scene and fully cooperated with arriving authorities.
The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
