IBERVILLE PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — Robert Lee Wilson, of Gloster, Mississippi, has been identified as the victim in a Monday evening big-rig crash in Iberville Parish, Louisiana.
Wilson, 47, was killed in a single-vehicle tractor-trailer crash in Iberville Parish Monday evening.
According to reports, Wilson was operating a International Prostar 113 on Interstate 10 near LA-77 in Rosedale, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway and traveled into a wooded area before rolling over.
Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
