JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — A man was found dead inside a burning home in Jefferson County, Alabama Tuesday night.
The victim was a white male, but authorities have not yet confirmed his identity.
According to reports, Fairfield firefighters and Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies responded to a house fire at 409 44th Street in Fairfield around 9:10 p.m.
At some point, a victim was located deceased inside the home.
The was pronounced dead on the scene.
A cause of death was not provided.
The investigation is ongoing.
