NEW HAVEN COUNTY, CT. (THECOUNT) — Brian Lambert, of West Haven, Connecticut, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Wednesday vehicle crash in New Haven County.
Lambert, 63, was killed in a two-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer near Milford late Wednesday morning.
According to reports, Lambert was operating a Nissan Altima Interstate 95 in Milford, when the vehicle came into contact with a stopped tractor-trailer around 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Lambert was pronounced dead of injuries suffered in the wreck.
The truck driver was uninjured.
State police indicated enforcement action is pending in the crash but did not elaborate.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
