ELKHART COUNTY, In. (THECOUNT) — Michael S. Grant, of Elkhart, Indiana, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday fatal vehicle crash in Elkhart County.
Grant, 44, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Elkhart early Saturday morning.
According to reports, Grant was operating a vehicle on CR-4 near CR-109 in Elkhart, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway Saturday morning. The vehicle then came into contact with a tree.
Grant was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
