ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, NH. (THECOUNT) — Tyler N. Troy, of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, has been identified as the driver in a Thursday morning fatal vehicle crash in Rockingham County.

Troy, 22, was named the possible DUI driver in a single-vehicle crash in Portsmouth early Thursday morning.

According to reports, Troy was operating a Porsche Macan on Route 1 Bypass in Portsmouth, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway near the Portsmouth Traffic Circle around 1:15 a.m. Thursday. The vehicle then came into contact with a curb and rolled over multiple times.

Six people, including Troy, were ejected from the Porsche during the wreck.

Four passengers were transported to area hospitals for treatment of serious injuries.

Troy and another passenger were transported to area hospitals for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

One unidentified passenger was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

No charges have been filed at this point, however, police said impairment and speed may be contributing factors in the crash.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
