ALBEMARLE COUNTY, VA. (THECOUNT) — Javy Loya car accident Charlottesville: Francisco Javier Loya, of Crozet, Virginia, has been identified as the victim in a Monday night fatal vehicle crash in Albemarle County.

“Javy” Loya, 36, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Charlottesville Monday night.

According to reports, Loya was operating a vehicle on the 6800 block of Dick Woods Road near Plank Road and Foster Ridge in Charlottesville, when the wreck occurred around 5 p.m. Monday.

Loya was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

Further details of the crash were not provided.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
