NJ Drummer Kellen Bischoff Found Dead At PA Recycling Plant After Crawling In Dollar General Dumpster

BERKS COUNTY, PA. (THECOUNT) — Missing 19-year-old drummer, Kellen Bischoff, from Ocean County, New Jersey, has been identified as the body found at a Berks County, Pennsylvania recycling plant late Saturday.

Bischoff, who was reported missing early Saturday while visiting Pennsylvania, was found deceased several hours later at a recycling facility after reportedly entering a trash dumpster.

According to security video, Bischoff was spotted crawling into a Dollar General dumpster in Berks County. Hours later, a garbage truck is seen emptying the dumpster and compressing its contents. Bishoff’s body was later located when the truck was unloaded at the recycling facility.

Bischoff left a house party attended by Kutztown University students early Saturday but never returned and was later reported missing to police.

Bischoff was identified by several unique tattoos on his body.

An autopsy determined there was no foul play involved and the death appears to be accidental.

The investigation is ongoing and toxicology results are pending.

Bishoff graduated the Class of 2022 at Southern Regional and was a member of the wrestling team and was currently a drummer in the band Hellfire, which set up a GoFundMe page to help his family with expenses.
