JACKSON COUNTY, GA. (THECOUNT) — Mill Creek High School junior cheerleader Caitlyn Pollock, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday night Jackson County, Georgia fatal vehicle crash.
Details of the Hoschton crash were not provided.
Principal Jason Lane released a statement to Mill Creek High School parents and guardians Sunday night saying counselors and social workers would be at the school on Monday to provide support for grieving students:
“It is with deep sadness that I inform you about the tragic loss of one of our Mill Creek High students over the weekend,” Lane wrote. “Our hearts and thoughts are with the student’s family, friends, and loved ones as they cope with this tremendous personal loss. On Monday we will hold a special moment of silence in memory of our student, classmate, and friend.”
