IBERVILLE PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — Courtney Terrel Davis Sr., of New Orleans, Louisiana, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday fatal vehicle crash in Iberville Parish.
Davis, 44, was killed in a single-vehicle crash overnight in Maringouin.
According to reports, Davis was traveling in a pickup truck on LA-77 near Wheelock Lane in Maringouin, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway early Sunday morning. The vehicle then rolled over.
Davis, who was ejected from the vehicle during the wreck, was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
A second occupant of the vehicle suffered minor injuries.
Investigators are still working to determine who was driving the truck at the time of the crash.
