ESCAMBIA COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Patricia Allen Helton, of Atmore, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday fatal vehicle crash in Escambia County.
Patti Helton was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Atmore Thursday afternoon.
According to reports, Helton was operating a Chevrolet Silverado near Atmore, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway around 2:40 p.m. Thursday. The vehicle then entered a culvert and rolled over.
Helton was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
