HOWARD COUNTY, MD. (THECOUNT) — Alcira Garcia De Dubon, of Baltimore, Maryland and Morgan Charles Kelly Jr., of Columbia, Maryland, have been identified as the victims in a Tuesday morning fatal vehicle crash and pedestrian strike in Howard County.

Dubon, 50, was killed, and 46-year-old Kelly was injured, in a two-vehicle crash and subsequent pedestrian strike early Tuesday morning in Elkridge.

According to reports, Kelly was operating a Porsche Cayenne on Interstate 95 near State Route 100, when the vehicle came into rear-end contact with Mazda CX-9 around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Dubon, who was a passenger in the Mazda, was pronounced dead at the scene after being ejected from the vehicle during the collision.

The driver and three other passengers in the Mazda were not injured.

Kelly, who exited his vehicle following the crash, was struck by a passing Honda Odyssey. He was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
