JEFFERSON COUNTY, MO. (THECOUNT) — Joseph Hale Jr., of House Springs, Missouri, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday morning fatal vehicle crash in Jefferson County.
Hale, 18, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in House Springs early Sunday morning.
According to reports, Hale was operating a Ford F150 pickup truck on Miller Road near Eagles View Drive in House Springs, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway around 5 a.m. Sunday. The vehicle then came into contact with a utility pole and burst into flames.
Hale was pronounced dead of blunt force and thermal injuries at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
