ALASKA. (THECOUNT) — William Kompkoff, of Anchorage, Alaska, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday fatal vehicle crash.
‘Bones’ Kompkoff, 57, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Sutton-Alpine early Thursday morning.

According to reports, Kompkoff was operating a pickup truck on Jonesville Mine Road, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway and came into contact with an embankment. The vehicle then rolled over into a culvert around 12:30 a.m. Thursday.
Kompkoff was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
