POWESHIEK COUNTY, IA. (THECOUNT) — Garland Roth, of Grinnell, Iowa, has been identified as the victim in a Monday night fatal vehicle crash in Poweshiek County.
Roth, 68, was killed in a two-vehicle crash involving a grain wagon Monday night near Brooklyn.
According to reports, Roth was operating a vehicle on CR-V18 near Brooklyn, when the vehicle came into rear-end contact with a grain wagon around 6:30 p.m. Monday.
Roth died of injuries suffered in the wreck.
The tractor driver was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
