MILAM COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Brittany Nicole Knighton, of Tyler, Texas, has been identified as the victim in a Friday fatal vehicle crash in Milam County.
Knighton, 28, was killed in a Friday afternoon vehicle crash near Milano.

Knighton was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt west on the highway at about 3:35 p.m. when for unknown reasons, the vehicle traveled partially onto the westbound improved shoulder about three miles of Milano, Sgt. Bryan Washko of the Texas Department of Public Safety said in a news release.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
