OTSEGO COUNTY, MI. (THECOUNT) — Edward Leroy Wilson, of Mancelona, Michigan, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday night fatal motorcycle crash in Otsego County.
Wilson, 38, was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Elmira Township Thursday night.
According to reports, Wilson was operating a motorcycle on Alba Road near Franckowiak Road in Elmira, when the bike exited the roadway in a curve and entered a culvert around 8:45 p.m. Thursday. The bike then flipped multiple times.
Wilson was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
