MCLENNAN COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Former Frisco Heritage High School JV football player, Norman Nyamandi, was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle, following a Saturday morning McLennan County vehicle crash that killed a female Baylor student.
Nyamandi, 19, was arrested after a single-vehicle crash that killed a young Baylor student early Saturday.
According to reports, Nyamandi was operating a vehicle on the 3100 block of South 3rd Street in Waco, when he lost control and made contact with a parked vehicle around 2:30 a.m. Saturday. The vehicle then flipped over, ejecting his female passenger.
Nyamandi was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle, a second-degree felony. The McLennan County Jail told the Lariat Nyamandi is currently in their custody.
