OCONEE COUNTY, SC. (THECOUNT) — Chloe Hietala, from Two Harbors, Minnesota, has been identified as the victim in a Monday morning fatal vehicle crash in Oconee County, South Carolina.
Hietala, 20, who recently relocated to Westminster, South Carolina, was killed in a two-vehicle crash involving a semi-tractor Monday morning.
According to reports, Hietala was operating a vehicle on Highway 11 near South Union Road and Greer Road in Westminster, when the vehicle came into contact with a semi-tractor around 10 a.m. Monday.
Hietala was pronounced dead blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
It is unknown if the truck driver suffered any injuries.
The cause of the crash has been ruled an accident.
