HARRIS COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — A Harris County, Texas teen fatally shot two men who allegedly had broken into his Channelview home Friday night.
Two men were shot and killed during an attempted home invasion by a 17-year-old male who was armed with a shotgun Friday night in Channelview.
According to reports, the double-fatal shooting occurred Friday night just after 10:30 p.m. on 1st Street in the Channelview area after three masked men tried to make their way into a home. At some point, the teen opened fire, striking at least two of the men. A third suspect escaped in a dark-colored 4-door sedan.
The two men were pronounced dead at the scene of shotgun blast injuries.
The home was occupied by an adult woman, another 17-year-old male and a young 12-year-old boy.
Homicide units with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office are now investigating. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact them at (713) 274-9100.
