FB Memorial For Beloved Couple Patrick Marrah & Taylor Orman Killed In Tuesday SC Motorcycle Crash

CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC. (THECOUNT) — Patrick Marrah, of Saint Michaels, Maryland, and Taylor Flowers Orman, of Rock Hill, South Carolina, have been identified as the couple killed in a Tuesday double-fatal motorcycle crash in Charleston County.

Marrah, 31, and 29-year-old Orman, were both killed in a motorcycle crash involving a box truck and a Tesla Tuesday in downtown Charleston.

According to reports, the couple were traveling on a motorcycle on Calhoun Street near Courtenay Drive in Charleston, when the bike was rear-ended by a box truck around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. The vehicles then came into contact with a stopped Tesla.

The couple, who were ejected from the motorcycle during the collision, died from injuries suffered in the crash.

The occupants of the Tesla were transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.

No one was cited at the scene, however, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Friends and family members opened a Facebook Memorial Page to remember Marrah:

“This is a memorial page and group for Patrick Marrah. It is a place for those who knew him to share photos and memories, thoughts or feelings.

At the time of his passing, Patrick’s Facebook account was not active, so he is not tagged in any of the many photos of him currently on other’s profiles. The hope is that they could be shared and uploaded here, or he could be tagged in his photos to this group using the @ symbol. In this way we hope to collect those memories and of images of this amazing young man for friends and family.

We only ask to just please keep in mind all of those who are currently grieving, and be considerate and respectful accordingly.”

Family members remembered the couple on Facebook:

We are so sad, so sad, to say that our youngest son, Patrick Marrah, was killed yesterday afternoon after being hit from behind on his motorcycle in Charleston SC. His girlfriend, Taylor Flowers Orman, who was riding on the back of the motorcycle, was also tragically killed.

We are devastated that we will never see him again in this life and pray that we will see him again in Heaven.
Patrick was blessed to have so many friends who knew and loved him and it was through these friends and his loved ones that he found the richness in his life. We want to thank you for loving our son and we know you are in pain and will miss him too.

Robin, Johnny and I are going to lay low, trying to process this devastating loss. I have attached some pictures of Patrick being Patrick with his niece and nephews who he dearly loved.
