HAMBLEN COUNTY, TN. (THECOUNT) — Brian Marcum, of Morristown, Tennessee, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday night fatal motorcycle crash in Hamblen County.
Marcum, 53, was killed in a two-vehicle motorcycle crash involving a semi-tractor Wednesday in Morristown.
According to reports, Marcum was operating a motorcycle on TN-160 near Interstate 80, when the bike came into contact with a big-rig Wednesday evening.
Marcum, a Morristown Hamblen High School West social studies teacher, died of injuries suffered in the collision.
Further details of the crash were not provided as of Thursday afternoon.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
