ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC. (THECOUNT) — Harley Bozard, of Reevesville, South Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday fatal vehicle crash in Orangeburg.
Bozard, 24, was killed and two other individuals seriously injured in a single-vehicle pickup truck crash near Eutawville late Sunday morning.
According to reports, Bozard was traveling as a passenger in a Chevy pickup truck on SC-45, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway around 11:40 a.m. Sunday. The vehicle then reentered lanes before again exiting the roadway and coming into contact with a substantial tree. The vehicle then rolled over coming to a rest on another tree.
Bozard died of injuries suffered in the crash.
The driver and the rear passenger were transported to an area hospital in unknown condition.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
