KITSAP COUNTY, WA. (THECOUNT) — Steven Shulz, 51, and Mina Shulz, 51, of Olalla, Washington, have been identified as the couple found dead on their Kitsap County property Thursday evening.

The couple’s daughter made the gruesome discovery Thursday night after she noticed there was forced entry into the home and blood inside. She did not see either of her parents and made contact with officials around 5 p.m. Thursday.

According to officials, the couple was found dead on the property. Detectives determined the deaths were as a result of “homicidal violence.”

Kitsap County investigators believe the couple were the victims of a double homicide at a home at 12913 Shady Glen Ave SE in Olalla.

A cause of death will be determined by the Kitsap County Coroner’s Office.
