JACKSON COUNTY, AR. (THECOUNT) — Brandi Nichole Fry, of Camp Point, Illinois, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday night fatal vehicle crash in Jackson County, Arkansas.
Fry, 37, was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Newport, Arkansas, Saturday night.
According to reports, Fry was operating a Ford Focus on Highway 67 near Mile Marker 74 in Newport, when the vehicle was rear-ended by a Chevy Malibu, operated by Racheal Norris of Georgetown, Mississippi, around 11 p.m. Saturday.
Fry was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries suffered in the crash.
Morris was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
