CARVER COUNTY, MN. (THECOUNT) — Anthony Michael Lewin, of Waconia, Minnesota, has been identified as the teen victim in a fatal Saturday vehicle crash in Carver County.
Lewin, 16, was killed in vehicle crash that injured another teen in Waconia early Saturday morning.
According to reports, Lewin was traveling as a passenger in a Toyota Camry on Oak Avenue near Goldfinch Drive in Waconia, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and collided with a parked payloader around 4:30 a.m. Saturday.
The 16-year-old driver was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Lewin was also transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
