CEDAR COUNTY, MO. (THECOUNT) — Clay Palmer, 19, of Cleveland, Missouri, Ryan Chick, of Cabool, Missouri, and Logan Meerkatz, of Cleveland, Missouri, have been identified as the victims in a Thursday triple-fatal vehicle crash in Cedar County.
Palmer, 19, Chick and Meerkatz, both 18, were all killed in a vehicle crash near Jerico Springs Thursday afternoon.
According to reports, Palmer was operating a vehicle on State Highway B in Jerico Springs, when the vehicle went airborne after cresting a hill Thursday afternoon. The vehicle then exited the roadway and rolled over.
The three teens were pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
A fourth passenger, Bradley Kidwell, of Cabool, was transported to an area hospital with moderate injuries.
According to officials, Kidwell was the only one wearing a seatbelt.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
