NE Woman Monae ‘Vina-Mae’ Rokusek ID’d As Victim Found Dead In Omaha Vehicle Monday

DOUGLAS COUNTY, NE. (THECOUNT) — Monae Rokusek Ward, of Omaha, Nebraska, has been identified as the victim found deceased in a vehicle in an Omaha neighborhood Monday night.

Monae “Vina-Mae”, 24, was found unresponsive inside a parked vehicle in Omaha Monday night.

According to reports, first responders responded to the area of North 72nd Avenue and Webster Street in Omaha around 5 p.m. Monday on reports of an unresponsive individual. When they arrived, Rokusek was found deceased inside a vehicle.

A friend of the victim said they discovered Rokusek-Ward still sitting outside in the vehicle after dropping them off.

The friend said they went to check on her but found she wasn’t breathing.

The cause of death was not provided.

The case remains under investigation.
