PEARL RIVER COUNTY, MS. (THECOUNT) — Katelyn Marie Baker, of Seminary, Mississippi, has been identified as the young mother killed in a vehicle crash in Pearl River County Tuesday morning.
Baker, 23, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Pearl River County Tuesday.
According to reports, Baker was operating a GMC Yukon on Highway 11 in Pearl River County, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. The vehicle then came into contact with a substantial tree.
Baker was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
