KANAWHA COUNTY, WV. (THECOUNT) — Dominque Poindexter, of Charleston, West Virginia, has been identified as the victim fatally shot in Kanawha County Monday.
“Cloutlord Dom” Poindexter, 22, was shot dead in an apparent accidental shooting at a Charleston residence Monday night.
According to reports, Poindexter and another man were playing with a gun at a home in the 500 block of Wyoming Street near Delaware Ave, when the gun discharged striking Poindexter in the head around 10:30 p.m. Monday.
Poindexter was pronounced dead at the scene of gunshot injuries.
The unidentified shooter, who has not been identified, immediately contacted police and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
