WASHINGTON PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — Kevin Feltman Christensen, of Mandeville, Louisiana, has been identified as the wrong-way driver who died in a crash in Washington Parish Saturday night.
Christensen, 35, was killed in a two-vehicle wrong-way crash near Bogalusa Saturday night.
According to reports, Christensen was operating a Toyota Tundra pickup truck the wrong-way on Highway 21 near Little Southern Village Road West in Bogalusa, when the vehicle came into head-on contact with a Jeep Grand Cherokee around 10:45 p.m. Saturday.
The Jeep then rolled over.
Christensen was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The driver of the Jeep and four other passengers sustained unknown moderate to serious injuries. All occupants of the Jeep were transported to area hospitals.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
