HERKIMER COUNTY, NY. (THECOUNT) — Trina Graudons Nichols, of Van Hornesville, New York, has been identified as the victim in a Friday night fatal vehicle crash in Herkimer County.

Graudons Nichols, 48, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Jordanville Friday night.

According to reports, Graudons Nichols was operating a Jeep Cherokee on Aney Hill Road near State Route 167 in Jordanville, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle wrecked around 7 p.m. Friday.

Graudons Nichols was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
