OCEAN COUNTY, NJ. (THECOUNT) — Brian Steiner, of Sayreville, New Jersey, has been identified as the victim in a Friday night fatal vehicle crash in Ocean County.
Steiner, 49, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Lacey Township Friday night.
According to reports, Steiner was operating a Chevrolet Traverse on Garden State Parkway near Lanoka Harbor, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 7:30 p.m. Friday. The vehicle then traveled down an embankment before coming into contact with a grouping of trees.
Steiner was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
