JACKSON COUNTY, IN. (THECOUNT) — Jacob Peelman, of Indianapolis, Indiana, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday fatal vehicle crash in Jackson County.
Peelman, 19, was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Redding Township Wednesday morning.
According to reports, Peelman was operating a vehicle on Interstate 65 near Exit 55 in Seymour, when the vehicle came into rear-end contact with a stopped semi-truck around 7 a.m. Wednesday.
Peelman was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash of blunt force trauma injuries.
The truck driver was not injured in the collision.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
