PEMBINA COUNTY, ND. (THECOUNT) — Michael Peterson, of Walhalla, North Dakota, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Saturday ATV crash in Pembina County.
“Mike” Peterson, 48, was killed in a single-vehicle ATV crash near Leroy Saturday night.
According to reports, Peterson was operating a Polaris 4-wheeler with a group of riders on 105th Ave NE near Leroy, when the ATV entered a culvert and ejected the rider. The ATV then rolled over on top of the rider around 10 p.m. Saturday.
Peterson suffered fatal injuries during the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the NDHP.
