CHELAN COUNTY, WA. (THECOUNT) — Jason Rude Jonason and Tiffany Flowers Rutherford, of Leavenworth, Washington, have been identified as the victims in a Thursday double-fatal motorcycle collision in Chelan County.
Jonason and Rutherford, both 42, were killed in a two-vehicle motorcycle crash near Coles Corner Thursday.
According to reports, Jonason was operating a Kawasaki motorcycle on Route 207 near Coles Corner, when the bike came into rear-end contact with a Ford F-150 pickup truck late Thursday night.
The occupants in the pickup were not injured in the collision.
Jonason and his passenger Rutherford, were pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
