TOLLAND COUNTY, CT. (THECOUNT) — Rebecca Normandin, of Stafford Springs, Connecticut, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Monday night vehicle crash in Tolland County.
Normandin, 40, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Stafford Springs Monday night.
According to reports, Normandin was operating a vehicle on East Street in Stafford Springs, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway Monday night. The vehicle then entered a culvert and flipped over before making contact with a substantial tree.
Normandin was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
