LAFOURCHE PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — Robert Luent, of Larose, Louisiana, has been identified as the victim in a fatal motorcycle crash in LaFourche Parish.
Luent, who was reported missing on Sunday, died in a single-motorcycle crash near Larose.
According to reports, 50-year-old Luent was operating a Kawasaki motorcycle on LA-308 near East 37th Street in Cut Off, when for unknown reasons, the bike crossed centerlines and exited the roadway.
Troopers discovered the crash scene around 2 p.m. Monday.
Larose was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
