FRANKLIN COUNTY, VA. (THECOUNT) — Roberto Mike Beltrami Jr., of Franklin, Virginia, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday fatal motorcycle crash in Franklin County.
“Mike” Beltrami, 26, was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash early Tuesday morning.
According to reports, Beltrami was operating a Yamaha Royal Star motorcycle on Delaware Road near Willis Road in Franklin, when for unknown reasons, the bike crosse centerlines and exited the roadway round 4:45 a.m. Tuesday. The bike then entered a culvert – ejecting the rider.
Beltrami was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
