RICHMOND COUNTY, GA. (THECOUNT) — Cortez Holden of Augusta, Georgia, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday single-vehicle crash in Richmond County.
“Teezy” Holden, 30, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near August Saturday night.
According to reports, Holden was operating a Dodge Ram pickup truck on Jimmie Dyess Parkway near Belair Road in Augusta, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 11 p.m. Saturday. The vehicle then flipped over multiple times.
Holden, who was partially ejected during the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
