CLEARWATER COUNTY, MN. (THECOUNT) — Morgan Avenson of Bemidji, Minnesota, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday fatal vehicle crash in Clearwater County.
Avenson, 22, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Gonvick early Sunday morning.
According to reports, Avenson was operating Toyota 4Runner on Highway 92 west of Gonvick, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway round 3 a.m. Sunday. The vehicle then entered a culvert and rolled over multiple times.
Avenson was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
