HILL COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Nicholas Chaleo Charassri of Waxahachie, Texas, has been identified as the suspect in a Friday night fatal shooting in Hill County.
“Nick” Charassri, 40, was arrested and charged with murder following a shooting near Abbott Friday night.
According to reports, police responded to a call of shots fired in the 400 block of Pine Street in Abbott around 5 p.m. Friday. When they arrived, Charassri was located seated in a vehicle. He was taken into custody with further incident.
The victim, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene of gunshot injuries.
The case remains under investigation.
