LOS ANGELES, CA. (THECOUNT) — Isaiah Lee, the man arrested over an unprovoked attack of comedian Dave Chappelle during a performance at the Hollywood Bowl Tuesday, will not face any serious charges, according to the Office of Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón.
Lee, 23, tackled Chappelle during his Hollywood Bowl performance Tuesday night.

We are now learning, Lee will not face any serious charges, according to the District Attorney’s Office.
Instead the 23-year-old will likely face misdemeanor charges, the DA’s office said Thursday.
Police said after Lee tackled Chappelle, he pulled out a replica gun that also had a real knife blade attached. The Los Angeles Times reported Lee did not brandish the knife but it was found in his bag.
The LAPD had charged the attacker with assault with a deadly weapon, a felony.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney is George Gascón, who is notoriously soft on crime.
