7.4 Earthquake Strikes Near Fukushima Japan Wednesday

JAPAN. (THECOUNT) — A magnitude 7.4 earthquake struck offshore near Fukushima on Wednesday.

There are no reports of injuries or damage as of Wednesday morning. Tsunami potential is being evaluated, according to USGS.

The 7.4 quake was followed by a smaller 6.4 shaker.
