LAS VEGAS, NV. (THECOUNT) — R&B singer Jason Derulo got into an altercation in Las Vegas on Tuesday morning when a man was caught on video calling him “Usher” and cursing at him.
In a video posted to TMZ, Derulo can be seen walking by while a man off-camera can be heard saying “Why you’d slap me.” At one point, another man off-camera can her heard saying, “hey Usher, hey Usher,” along with some expletives. Suddenly, Derulo bolts in the direction of the person filming and can be seen making contact with another man.
In the newly released video, we can see Derulo walking with a group of people in the lobby of the Aria hotel in Las Vegas, when suddenly he appears to turn and attack a man standing nearby.
Additional video posted to Instagram shows Derulo later being escorted out of the hotel in handcuffs:
